Equipment Provided
 
We have invested in top quality equipment to maximise your experience.  You can of course bring your own bicycles but our prices do include the use of quality Specialized bikes with front suspension and disc brakes, safety helmets and water bottles.  For the on Road cycling holidays we provide quality touring bikes with rack and map holder, and of course we also provide helmets and water bottles and mini tool kit.
 
We have a range of Old Town canadian canoes, which are safe, stable and easy to paddle, bouyancy aids are provided, in all sizes.   
  
Accommodation included
 
Accommodation is at Les Hirondelles Guest House, a delightful rustic farmhouse, set in peaceful and scenic countryside.
 
We also use Le Villard, a family run hotel (English speaking), or Le Templiers for groups larger than 10.

 

We ensure that the produce that we use for the majority of the home cooked meals is sourced locally or home grown, and we only take you to restaurants or bistros that we have sampled ourselves and enjoyed.  You dont even need to speak French as we can.

It could be mountain biking through scenic terrain, walking for hours on ancient byways, where the only sound you hear is nature, paddling an open canoe down beautiful river gorges, or cycling along quiet country lanes through picturesque villages and past lakes, woods and farmland.

Location

 
Situated in the foothills of the Massif Central, Limousin is a paradise for nature lovers. Famous for ‘Limoges’ porcelain and ‘Aubusson’ tapestries, it also offers many natural heritage sites (Dordogne Valley, Regional Parks of Millevaches and Périgord-Limousin) and some of the “Prettiest Villages of France”.

Made up of still lakes, fast flowing streams, gentle rolling valleys and forested hills Limousin has only recently become popular with tourists looking for off-the-beaten track holidays where the quintessential old-fashioned image of rural France still exists. Discover its medieval villages, granite churches, magnificent countryside and mouth-watering cuisine at your leisure. Enjoy!
 
France is a country which embraces the bicycle as part of its culture, giving space to cyclists on the roadways goes without saying and there are many GR routes(Grand Randonnees) winding through the quiet country lanes and over the undulating countryside, which take in a wealth of historical and interesting sites both natural and manmade. 
 
The Creuse has literally thousands of km of waymarked walking and cycling routes and" Les Monts de Gueret" alone offers over 1000kms of signposted mountain biking and walking routes, ranging from undulating trails in the foothills through to more demanding hill trails taking you up to 650m, with stunning views across the surrounding countryside.
